Staying socially connected is not only ridiculously important but super doable! Here are some tips from your SIC reps on ways to stay connected whilst protecting health and safety: ... - Reach out to friends you haven’t talked to in a while! A pandemic is the perfect excuse to check in. - Send letters! - Play skribbl.io (online Pictionary) with your pals! - Make a tiktok chain/duet your buddies to create quality content from different homes. - FaceTime whilst you study for that classic Marie Reay experience. - Do an online workout with a friend - it’s like being in a gym but you don’t even have to leave your bedroom! - Missing zoom during the teaching break? Have a big catchup with a group of people you miss and present PowerPoints to each other on what you’ve been up to/something niche you’re interested in! - Get involved in the virtual activities your hall/res has been planning! - Keep an eye out for upcoming virtual SIC activities...
