22.01.2022 We did it! $15,000 raised for the River Angels A massive thank you to my wife Dunja for all the work she has put in to ensure such a successful event. Many of you would have read some of the story about my why, being the want to raise as much money as possible, with the idea that I can get the recognition I feel my grandma deserved, but the trip showed me that’s not who I am and looking back, it’s not what she was about. So, while I love my grandma, and I’d love to get her th...e recognition I feel she deserves, I think it’s time to let go of a pipe dream that doesn’t serve either of us, it just takes me away from who I am. What are the things I want to keep from my grandma and family? My sense of adventure, my sense of fun, my enjoyment and my silly. I’ll be working on keeping and incorporating those into more of what I do. What am I trying to let go My focus on numbers, my chasing money those have never aligned with me and have never served me well and only took me away from the happy and fun. That doesn’t mean there won’t be fundraising coming again, it just means I’ll try to keep my eyes off the numbers. That said I can’t thank everyone enough for their support, because helping the @river angels has been so incredibly good and fun From Monday, classes will be fancy dress for the month of Halloween

07.01.2022 I never really liked my smile, but recently in this time of zoom connections I've had a few people say whenever they see it, they can't stop a smile growing on their face. I'm not really one to accept compliments, but it's a pretty new one so here's a picture for you while I talk about a throw away comment I received in this morning's class. "If you keep asking me to smile, in 2 months all I'll do is smile" That was in the middle of doing some exercise, because I believe it s...hould be fun you should want to do it, not just a way to punish your body. I think my response was along the lines of "don't tell anyone, most people think you have to be pushed to breaking point in order to change" (obviously I said that with a smile on my face ). Imagine training for fun, confidence and enjoyment. It's a nice feeling isn't it
