22.01.2022 What do we all think of this? As much as I'm an advocate for taking your own awesome photos with a smartphone, I would like my little one to have the choice to study creative avenues. Human creativity will be the last thing (if ever) technology will be able to formulate/replicate... I wouldn't be where I am today in photography if I hadn't had the experience of cutting the power off to the tafe photo studio learning lighting...true story

20.01.2022 "I can't take photos at home because of my old benches/lighting/house renos/cat/kids/small workspace." I hear you!! The good news, there is a way to make awesome photos happen, no matter what is going on in your work space. Today I got to do my favourite thing; set up a prop kit and photo taking space in a timber workshop. 14.01.2022 Australia Post report there is no doubt the industry is hurtling towards the biggest peak in online shopping history. There's still time to diy your marketing content if you jump on it now! I'll be visiting @timberdimensions this week to talk through some quick styling and smartphone photography tips so he can jump on board to ride out the online shopping wave and focus on his craft as the xmas orders roll in. 13.01.2022 Find your brightest shade That's if you want even light on your product. For drama or a poolside vibe, shoot in the sunshine , its a stronger light and throws off fabulous shadow. Not recommended for faces though Yesterday a back dock worked perfectly as an even and consistent natural light studio for some food shots. Samsung S10

Timing and editing is everything, I havn't had time to go to this pretty scene at golden hour so I went there when I could and added a light flare to lift the lighting in the scene.
