01.01.2022 PET PEEVES. We shared some on our stories the other day and asked you what you thought! Things people/brands do on Social Media which make you squirm. A couple of our's:... 1. Having a large number of followers on IG and then following 0!! I repeat, 0 back! [Influencers are especially in the peeve pile for this]. This is the definition of superiority. A sales channel. A ONE-WAY platform. They do not give 2 shits about their community. They've clearly built it up, and then bulk unfollowed everyone. I know this is a trend right now, but I hope it changes really soon! 2. When you tag a brand in a story or post and you don't even get so much as a "like" back. This is rude to the consumer, it's also a HUGE missed opportunity for the brand to create customer retention. If you're a brand and this is you - give them a "thanks" back at the very least. 3. No-diversity! In particular fashion labels, when they only uses a certain type of model for all of their content. This is even more peevish when there are loads of beautiful PAYING customers creating content for them. Again, huge wasted opportunity for the brand to create retention/ambassadors. Also, a big turn off for the consumer. [we have heard MANY stories of this] What's your pet peeves? What irritates you about this platform and the way some use it? Chanice, SO. xo
