22.01.2022 Are you aware of the term 'social proof'? Basically, it's a term used to describe when people mimic the actions of others because of an inherent need to conform. People's tendency to prefer a product or a service that someone they trust has recommended can also be a result of social proof. 22.01.2022 Hola to my beautiful audience! Yes - you have heard crickets lately. I've been quite absent lately and I’m here to explain why. Since living over in Bali I've almost lost my sense of passion towards social media and Social Splash. I used to be that person that could work on their biz 24/7 and never wanted to sleep. I would religiously listen to podcasts and read blogs related to social media. This has gone down the drain in the past couple of months. ... So I scaled my business back completely and am now working with only a handful of clients. Lately, I've come to the realisation that I feel this way for a reason. Everything happens for a reason, and I just wasn't on the right path. I was sharing my struggles with a fellow social media marketer in Bali today and the advice she gave me blew my mind. I explained to her that I've been spending a lot of my time learning about all things spirituality and personal development. I’ve been attending a lot of workshops and basically everyone here practices the techniques on the reg. She said she had similar struggles to mine and changed her client niche and now her passion has come back. Of course - I realised. This is what I need to do. It lights my soul on fire thinking about managing social media accounts for life and spiritual coaches. I’m also super lucky to adore those handful of clients I have and keep them on as well. It's time to go international. It's time for a complete re-brand. It's time to gain me focus, clarity and excitement back for social media and my business. So as with my impulsive nature, I've already come up with a new pricing structure, name and branding. Only a thousand more things to do! Watch this space.
