18.01.2022 The Universitys Return to Campus Taskforce has been working hard to develop our roadmap for returning more activities to campus. Were implementing a staged r...eturn, where access to campus for staff, students and visitors is broken into colour-coded levels. This is to ensure we can gradually open parts of our campus, whilst maintaining the necessary social distancing and hygiene protocols. From Monday 18 May, College Deans will be making decisions about their College - because this graduated return is complex and the "one-size fits all" approach wont work. 17.01.2022 While many in our community are still unable to join us in Canberra, today we welcome more students and staff back to campus for Semester 2. It is important we ...learn lessons from Victoria and remain vigilant at all times. Everyone who returns to campus must abide by the Australian Government physical distancing rules of 1.5 metres between each person, and no more than 1 person per 4m2 in offices, meeting rooms, laboratories and teaching spaces. You must stay home if you are sick and get tested if appropriate. At ANU we are one community and in the face of adversity we look after and look out for one another. 02.01.2022 FROM THURSDAY ANU WILL MOVE TO REMOTE WORK & STUDY We will still operate as the nations university, but not from our campus until at least the end of semest...er on 27 June. Our ANU medical experts are clear: to control the spread of COVID-19 we must take tough action to reduce the number of interactions on our campus, and take it now. And that is what we are doing. From Thursday 26 March except for some very limited & select cases all staff will work away from campus. From Monday 30 March, all teaching will be remote & except limited & essential cases, the campus will be closed. All buildings will be locked & 24/7 access removed. Despite the campus closure, staff will continue to be paid as per usual arrangements and previous announcements. Our residences, which are home to many of our students will stay open, under strict social-distancing, health & hygiene regimes. Until the Government deems it non-essential, childcare centres will remain open. Get the full details here: bit.ly/3bsqGCP Check the ANU website, ANUOK & ANU social media channels for updates: www.anu.edu.au/news/all-news/covid-19-advice Stay safe everyone. We all have a role to play if we are to #stopthespread.
