25.01.2022 We may have just launched, but we're already making the hard decisions...
24.01.2022 Were trying to stay creative during lockdown 2.0, so we wrote a letter to our past selves. Then we remembered our reading capacity at five years old and its unlikely we would understand anything inside these letters. The whole exercise was probably a futile gesture. Anyway, here's the link; https://www.sodasocial.com.au/letter-to-my-past-self/
23.01.2022 Don't be a Voldermort... A social media presence can help in almost any industry. All it takes is a bit of time and commitment
22.01.2022 It’s time to boot the ‘boost’. We’ll be honest, after a few years in the industry we still cringe when we hear someone say let’s just boost it for $100. We get it though. Boosting is easy. Even as we post this you can be damned sure that we’ll scroll through our feed an hour later and Facebook will creep over our shoulder and whisper gently into our ears hey, you could reach another 20k people if you just boost for $XX. No Facebook! Don’t treat us like some type of dirty... ahem. We digress. So why avoid the boost though? To put it simply, it’s one dimensional. Yes you’ll reach more people but you won’t have full control over your campaign. You won’t be able to test different audiences or different creatives against your budget and your overall objective should always have a multi-campaign approach focused on pushing people down the funnel (the reason for our nifty little video). That’s why it’s essential to familiarise yourself with Business Manager and the capabilities of it. Not sure where to start? Drop us a line for a free
22.01.2022 Oliver Goldsmith once said that "life is a journey that must be traveled no matter how bad the roads and accomodation". Steph gets on the blog this week talking to her five year old self through her challenges, wins and motivations of the past almost 30 years.
20.01.2022 Dan. DAN. DANNNN. Thanks for being our first troll Honestly, we thought we'd need AT LEAST 40 Facebook followers before people started trolling us. And yes, that was us who loved Dan's comment, because we're trying to stay positive in 2020 (and boy don't we all know that it ain't easy this year ). #spreadlovenothate

16.01.2022 Stories have really grown from being an Instagram feature to being THE Instagram feature. It's evolved how marketers have to think about content and also evolved how we as an audience are consuming content... Now the peeps down at Facebook are acting on the trend

10.01.2022 Not to be outdone, Hugo wanted to get in on our "Letter To My Past Self" series. In his letter he details his solo journey from Tasmania to Melbourne at just two months old and how his new roommates steal all his ideas. Click the link below to read from the most eloquent pup you'll ever meet.
09.01.2022 "I had built this little podcast success that was becoming unsustainable to run on my own, but sadly not big enough to make money just yet. So one day, feeling defeated by the lack of financial opportunities, I just gave it all up. Emotional and physical exhaustion had finally taken over the passion of the project." Steph is on the blog this week talking through her first venture into the creative industries.

08.01.2022 Let's talk mental health in a pandemic... We live in a hotspot. So when we heard coronavirus lockdowns were rolling out again across certain postcodes we knew our suburb was going to be one of those facing new restrictions. The news didnt really impact us that much. Yeah sure, the first lockdown wasnt easy, but we got through it. And now? Well it was just another four weeks. Whats a month? But if were being honest, only one week into the four, weve definitely had long periods of not being okay.
