19.01.2022 Please, please, please, vaccinate your pets. This is the second lot of parvovirus puppies we have had this week. Parvo is a dirty disease that rots the puppies ...stomachs from the inside. Literally, untreated, they rot and die. Treatment is VERY expensive. The younger they are the harder it is for them to recover. This pair of little girls, maybe 5 to 6 weeks old, arrived in care today, just in time for us to see the blood in their feaces. Off to the vet, and now Lynnie, the little grey girl, and her sister, Taratina are hooked up for their lifesaving treatment. Yes, it always has to be a weekend.
