22.04.2022 Congratulations people! Anzac Day went off with a blast. Besides the 2 up and excellent behaviour displayed by all and sundry, the big news is that we raised $4315.00 for Legacy. The breakdown is as follows: Excellent work by Peter and Sandra raised $1965.00 with the beautiful meaty rolls, helping keep people fed and slightly sober. Many thanks to Crowie and Jason and all others for their help. As usual, Gordo's magic hat was busy raising $2350.00, with Gordo using an attractive lady friend for security. Once more, thanks to all who helped make this a wonderful event with hopes of keeping the spirit of Anzac alive. Last but not least, thanks to the bar staff for doing an exemplary job under the circumstances.

21.01.2022 Well boys and girls, tomorrow is the first day of trying to get back to normal. The place has been cleaned and sanitised and we're looking forward to seeing you all. The restrictions are pretty hefty, but we have to prove that we are bigger than the problem. It does look a bit like a signwriter's nightmare, but I think we've got it covered (excuse the pun). Let's all enjoy what we can and hopefully, the bloody Covid will disappear, and let us get back to where we were. A big shout out to the helpers who made this possible. Draught Beer,,,mmmmmmmmm. 12.01.2022 Sorry folks, but under current conditions, we can't look at opening for 10 customers, not having a bistro et al. We certainly wouldn't want to be responsible for one of our customer family falling ill. Let's be patient and wait for a Grand Opening Party, hopefully in the near future. We're still open for takeaway liquor at the back door 2-8 pm. Stay safe everyone. Marty and Sandy.

09.01.2022 A huge thank you to our extended family. We're still here. With a bit of luck, we're staying. Another 29 years, and Sandy gets a letter from the Queen.

05.01.2022 After much browbeating, we have decided to postpone the opening until 9th June. This will give us all a chance to see what eventuates in other venues, and hopefully help to keep our customer family safe. With the expected influx over the Long Weekend, policing the social rules would be a nightmare, and we could not do justice to the local community. As much as we need the revenue from the tourist trade to survive, we feel that this is not the time to take the risks lightly. We hope that you can see the sense in our decision. We will still be serving takeaway as before, so let's look forward to the breakout. (1.5 meters distancing, of course, even though this means that Janey won't be able to cuddle me). Stay safe folks.
