Adding just the right amount of each ingredient that is slightly different each time, it depends on how it all mixes. I carefully follow the long raising process as well as the long baking process. 08.01.2022 Sofie’s Danish rye bread is too good to be true! Having lived 5 years in Australia but coming from a Danish home with a mother who was a cold kitchen chef, I mi...ss and crave good rye bread. Coles German Pumpernickel bread is sweet and sticky and no good. Local bakeries try but fail. Even the German bakeries cannot get close. Sofie also don’t come close - she NAILS it! Her Danish rye is better than anything you would buy in Denmark and tastes so good that my kids getting it for Easter asked: did grandma send that from Denmark? Thank you Sofie!

04.01.2022 Ok. Cafe is closed! I can't believe I can still make these, with Sofie's rye bread! So Yummy!! Makes me feel better about staying home. Even by itself it's so... good. So chewy all the textures, feeling heathy!! (My daughter didn't like any whole grain bread, but she eats this!) Thank you so much Sofie! Please keep making this lovely bread. See more

02.01.2022 I have heard from so many that rye bread with honey and banana should taste delicious, so I decided to try for myself today. I must say, not too bad at all . There are no limits to what you can have on your slice of rye bread.
