17.01.2022 To all the parents, careers and young folks, this school holidays The Base Health Newcastle is hosting a 2-day drama production for kids 6+. This event entails building on confidence & performative skills through theater activities and performing your ideas with those in the class. Classes are suitable for all levels of expertise! Even those completely new to drama. The cost of such shenanigans is $60 for the 2 days. 12.01.2022 Softys Clubhouse mask sweatshop progress... if anyone has good sewing skills and would like to get involved - hit us up. Down the track we might be into training newbies, but for now we’re looking for those with ready-to-roll proficient sewing skills. We will be selling them cheap to members using donated fabric and you will earn $$ on every mask you make. :D

08.01.2022 Hi chums, we've done f-all at Softys for ages. But here's one lil thing... tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday. Bandcamp do this thing on the first Friday of the month - they waive their fees so any artists flogging their sweet and salty wares on the platform get more bux per banga. Tomorrow is one such Friday - so all day tomorrow we'll promote as many local artists as possible who have tracks for sale and cajole tune lovers to do themselves a favour and buy a music or two. Please ...suggest any local artists to plug and we'll plug em.
