25.01.2022 The 2019 festival kicks off on Saturday, February 16, at Signal Park, right on the picturesque Busselton foreshore. A record number of craft breweries and cideries from the South West region of Western Australia will be on show, from Mandurah in the north right through to the south coast of Denmark.

25.01.2022 It promises to be another beautiful day in Busselton even though its started off a bit cloudy. 4 large vessels sighted in the ocean including at least one cruise liner shown at left of first photo below. We have full house at Sojourn on Gale B&B.

14.01.2022 On November 20th we will have owned and run Sojourn on Gale Luxury Bed & Breakfast for exactly 10 years. After having travelled the World we decided to always give the best service we expect when staying somewhere and, we always have. This is confirmed by previous guests returning time and time again. Also we have not only kept out tariff consistant for the past 6 years but now even offer discounts of $10 to $15 for "direct bookings" (depending on length of stay). Complimentary full breakfast & afternoon cakes or scones daily.

13.01.2022 A question we are often asked is do we have stairs. The answer is no. The whole house is ground level with one very small step at the entrance only, The suites are large as are the ensuite bathrooms. The showers in the Naturaliste suite and Heritage suite do not have a step so easy access is assured for older people even if they use aides for walking. Being close to the beach, shops and many places to eat, it is an ideal location for seniors to spend a holiday. Remember to book direct for best price and enquire if we have a minimum stay for the time you wish to book. The photo below taken before it was severly damaged by a cyclone many years ago. The main jetty has been completly rebuilt and a new train commissioned 2 years ago takes passenters along most of the 1.8km length.

13.01.2022 Wishing all our family and friends as well as past guests and future guests very happy New Year 2019. For the 6th year running we hope to keep our tariffs down. We recently heard that certain accommodation business were charging over $400 per night for a small single room (over Christmas & New Year) and with no food or drinks provided. We kept our tariff down to under $200 providing hugh room with private bathroom, king beds, full breakfast and Christmas treats. Unfortunately a lot of tourists who did not book well in advance missed out as we had full house. We had our own family celebrations prior to Christmas this year but running a tourism business we had to forgo seeing some family and friends we would have also like to have visited or have visit us. Hope 2018 was good to you all.

12.01.2022 We have been closed as a Bed & Breakfast for the past few months and do not envisage opening again much before Iron Man in November if it goes ahead. That will be a 5 night minimum booking event. You are welcome to show expressions of interest in staying for anytime from end of October and we will contact you as soon as bookings are open with no price hike. Our tariff has remained the same for the past 6 years with multiple days (4 or more) actually coming down.

11.01.2022 I just deleted my last post as a booking agent had the cheek to put their own add on my Face Book Page after I had a go at them. It is one of the major booking companies and when you don't like the way they do business they not only promote themself on your page but even put on a picture of a completly different building to your holiday accommodation. Book direct and save those indirect booking fees they tell you are not passed on. The fee is how they pay for their advertising and make millions which is then sent overseas.
