Hampers are $46 each OR $138 for three all tax-deductible SOL Results is partnering with Universal Charitable Fund (UCF) & Foodbank SA to hand-deliver 100 Christmas Hampers to those in need. Our purpose is two-fold: To provide a gift of groceries and treats to families in real need and to give volunteers the opportunity to not only contribute in a financial sense but also to meet the recipients and show that there are people in our community who care about them. I spent some time with a wise man recently who had retired from his world wide corporate role after over 35 years (travelling the world). He had to rediscover himself and reinvent his career (and hence his life) and he divided it into four key areas:... 1. Choose a career or occupation that challenges you mentally. It is important to grow in your thought life. 2. Ensure this vocation is aligned with your purpose in life. This will bring you meaning each day. 3. Retain autonomy. Everyone likes to be in control of their day and year. 4. Ensure there are no negative people in your environment. People help make the experience of work enjoyable. So in four key statements we have the secret to a healthy life transition and an enjoyable work environment.
