15.01.2022 When people ask me how the campaigning is going, I'm only able to say good things thanks to these superstars. This campaign has been a team effort and I cannot thank this group of people enough.... Dayanna Torres - Campaign Manager Kept me grounded and focused. She never let me dwell in doubt or hesitation and went above and beyond to keep us on schedule and kept all cogs moving in this campaign. I couldn't think of a more organised and committed person to have by my side. Sebastian Rebolledo - Graphic Designer Thanks for your unwavering ability to help this campaign. Even when we blew out deadlines or needed material ready with no notice at all, you bent over backwards. Diana Gavriil - Campaign Coordinator Thanks for keeping us creative in our campaigning. Your ideas for content were awesome and your fun spirit gave us an awesome twist as we navigated this campaigning adventure. Nichole Hayes - Mentor Your support and advice meant so much to me. You didn't help me for any other reason than the big heart you have. Your ability to see my potential and challenge us to do our best and do it to win was invaluable. Mark Pollocks - My rock (and self-appointed Executive Advisor) Your patience and support during this campaign mean so much to me. It's one thing to have a dream but if your nearest and dearest aren't on board it would be pretty difficult. Covid and all you never let me down... well apart from when you'd start jamming on your guitar during our Zoom meetings haha To all of the donors, businesses and volunteers (my beautiful family and friends) that letterboxed, read and reviewed my material, checked in and provided advice - thank you. To the supporters that hosted corflutes and posters - thank you. To my new friends, all of the people that called, emailed and messaged after reading my material and felt the urge to speak with me and get to know me - thank you for your trust. I will never stop thanking you all for your support during this campaign Regardless of the result - we're already winners and I look forward to sharing my journey in politics with you all
15.01.2022 Today I took a break out of my day to join the City of Greater Dandenong's Virtual Walk Against Family Violence! Did you join in? Our fight against this domestic and family violence starts with acknowledging the problem, talking about it in detail and promoting the need to respect one another.... I look forward to seeing our new council work on this topic and being a part of the discussion.

13.01.2022 Hello all! It's been a few days and feels so weird to not have posted since Friday... sooooo an update... The VEC website is saying that the Cleeland Ward results will be available from Friday 30 October!... #watchthisspace
12.01.2022 After learning I had placed fourth in the Cleeland Ward I had mixed emotions. A first time runner taking it out would be hard and although there were many challenges, peaks and troughs 792 people that have never had the chance to meet me gave me their trust and number 1. I cannot ask for more than that. Thank you!!!!!! My team and I were learning the process as we campaigned and the results show. For a first time running independent during a very different lockdown-sty...le candidacy, I'm so very proud. The three candidates that got the top spots had run multiple campaigns and to finish not too far behind is an honour. To all the Cleeland Ward candidates, credit to your work and keeping this process as civil as possible. I truly enjoyed the experience and look forward to catching up with each of you. I look forward to following Angela Long's achievements in her next four year term. I look forward to taking a larger part in promoting the need for #Access #Fairness and #Progress as a conscious and now empowered resident of the City of Greater Dandenong. Lastly, a massive shout out to first time candidate and Councillor-elect, Ms Rhonda Garad Greater Dandenong - Keysborough South Ward. Thanks for your friendship and support during our campaigning. I'm absolutely thrilled that against many obstacles the people chose you. I know we'll work together on many things to make a difference in our municipality. I'm not sure where to next... for now all I promise is that I'm not going anywhere and am here for a chat whenever. Take care all and happy Friday! P.s Go Rhonda!!!!!
