12.01.2022 Today we went back to an install that we completed last year for a local farmer on his dairy. Dairies use a lot of power but unfortunately most of the usage takes place when the sun is not shining so bright. For this customer, most of his usage was from the 1000L electric hot water tank. So we designed this 13.2kW PV system with @froniusaustralia Symo 10kW inverter and added 4 x 270L @istoreairtoenergy efficient hot water units. These units pre heat the 1000L of wash down water whilst running during the day with power generated by the PV system. This has dramatically reduced not just the customers power bill but also their carbon footprint. Win-win situation

03.01.2022 Most people tend to want their solar panels installed on their shed roof. Unfortunately, this may not always be possible due to the size of the electrical supply cable run out to the shed not being sufficient to handle the power and comply with Australian Standard 4777. Even a large shed supply cable can cause high voltage issues for the inverter, which will see it not just be non-compliant but also have the inverter shut down in a fault mode and not work. Still want solar on... your shed? Then have one of our experienced solar designers drop by to conduct a no obligation, free of charge site visit. They will identify any voltage rise issues and confirm whether or not a solar system on your shed roof will actually work. Fortunately for our customer here in this photo, we could fit 13.2kW of quality Q.Cell Q.Peak G5+ 330w solar panels and not have any voltage issues. #q_cell #qcells #solarpower #solarsystem #qualitysolar #northfacingpanels See more
