16.01.2022 IMPORTANT ALERT: For those people based in and around Canberra and South Coast NSW who are wondering whether they should turn their solar system off or leave it running today - our advice is to leave the system switched ON. If the grid goes down the system will automatically switch off unless you have battery backup in which case your backed up circuits will remain on. If you cant see the panels and are concerned they may be broken, please contact Capital Solar Maintenance who will be happy to do an assessment. If your panels are broken you should follow these steps: 1. Follow the system shutdown procedure, which will be outlined in your system user manual or on a whi...te label on or near your inverter 2. Contact your insurer to inform them of the broken panels and submit an insurance claim 3.
