15.01.2022 In the 3rd year due in later September, the Aldi meter now showing ~$600 up. The four x 250 watt( 24V) panels & plug n play 1000w inverted doing fine. In the heat of ~ 40C summer days, the inverter needed cooling with a fan. The internal fans can be easily replaced from ebay at low cost. ... All connections used 100amp DC wire( heavy duty) and all connectors were ( DC heavy duty) - no place here for being cheap on fundamentals !

06.01.2022 Since this demonstration solar system was created, solar PV & storage has grown dramatically in years 2017 & 2018, in Australia. It symbolised the arrival of the renewable energy transition in Australia, and what will be needed forever after. The system is also simple but effective for poorer people. All they need is some help.... The four (4) panel system suits single people, elderly people, those they seek a cheap and simple solution.

03.01.2022 Whilst solar systems are advertised and installed, the system presented is a small system ( 1kW), where an electrician or similar can put such up cheaply. A shed out the backyard or similar, like a steel pole with a flat steel top, where a wooden frame can hold 3-4 panels facing north on a tilt.
