25.01.2022 Nows the time to get solar on your roof before the air con starts pushing the bills up. Our existing Derby customers are loving the savings they are seeing. Businesses can also benefit from an instant asset write-off under ATO rules. For a site visit and quote, or just a chat for more information, give Duane a call on 0408 956 472. ... We appreciate the local support

25.01.2022 Off-grid solar system for our fellow local #indigenousbusiness @mimbicaves . ............... 18kW PV #trinasolar 330 watt panels, #clenergyracking, DC and AC coupled with #victron and #fronius inverters, 120 kWh battery bank and backup generator. Housed in a customised air conditioned container to suit the Kimberley environment. #offgridsolar #aboriginaltourism #kimberley

24.01.2022 Recent battery bank replacement on an off-grid system out at a tourism operation up the Gibb River Road.

24.01.2022 Great to see our friends at Jila have their system completed . Now we eagerly monitor the system and watch the impact on the power bill.

24.01.2022 The new rig arrived this week - custom made by #polmactrailers in Perth, rated to 3500kg with super high clearance, no off-grid location will be a problem to access. #offgridsolar #builttough #allaccess #remoteliving #kimberleywa #topographicallychallenged #solarinstallation #solarpanels #trailerspam

23.01.2022 Feeling a bit like this, waiting to get going on the upcoming solar installs after the Christmas break - waiting for Horizon Powers approval process, waiting for the Shires approval process, waiting for freight to arrive. Another week or two and its jobs on!

22.01.2022 An off-grid project weve been involved in for a while coming to fruition this past week. #offgrid #solar #remoteaustralia #solarcutters #facilitiesmanagement

22.01.2022 Mary Island Fishing Club is now powered by solar!

22.01.2022 30kW PV system like for like replacement. This project saw 3 x 10.44 kW #trina panel arrays with 3 x #fronius symo inverters, each with their own little custom made cubby house. Topped off with lifetime #solaranalytics monitoring. #solarenergy #solaraustralia #localbusiness #localprocurement #renewableenergy @ Derby, Western Australia

22.01.2022 Great to see mining companies with WA locations moving forward with renewables

22.01.2022 One of two arrays on this 6.6kW system. Sadly this was the last day the pretty frangi tree was allowed to stay there and had a haircut before it started casting solar killing shadows. #winaico 330 modules paired with 5kW #fronius inverter. #solarsystem #noshading

19.01.2022 Someone got a new toy #dronebeginner, and promptly did the rounds of recent #solar installs.

18.01.2022 We recommend products to our customers that will last. Whilst we respect customers budgets and offer solutions we believe in, we recommend Winaico panels, now offering 25 years warranty, and proven to perform when exposed to salt mist and Australian desert conditions.

18.01.2022 Final touches. #renewableenergy #kimberleywa @remotesolarsolutions

18.01.2022 We are trying to make a better world for our kids and the generations after that. It never seems enough. Creating a business in the renewables industry, yet the government/s do not embrace solar like they should - frustrating and infuriating are the most diplomatic words I can use on a business page. Providing a service for those supporting solar is our main goal - @remotesolarsolutions has also donated $500 to WIRES ( credit #wireswildliferescue site) to help those on the ground now do what they can for our precious wildlife.

18.01.2022 Some recent extensions and additions, (always in progress with room for more) to boost our own off-grid power system at the home/business premises.

17.01.2022 When a #solarcutter goes off-grid camping.

16.01.2022 Custom made combiner boxes are way more satisfying for stand alone solar systems than buying in pre-made. This was one for a little off-grid design & install in our neck of the woods.

16.01.2022 Isolation . Essential services . Access . Population 0. Water and power check for a remote community over the weekend.

14.01.2022 Retro solar. Clarendon photo filter seemed fitting on Clarendon Street, Derby West Oz. Can any Derby locals guess this iconic family run local biz location?! These guys are so excited to see the impact on their previously astronomical power bills with the new 20kW of rooftop PV now pumping. #fronius #froniusaustralia #prettysolar #byebyepowerbill #derbywa

14.01.2022 9.1 kW Winaico panels with a 7kW Fronius inverter. Should help keep the beer cold on a hot day at our local fishing club.

13.01.2022 Derby solar business Want solar? Getting solar? Use a local company, we are based in Derby, we can attend site to inspect, and we can help troubleshoot any problems encountered. We use quality equipment and installers that live right here in the Kimberley. There is now only approximately 200kW left of solar power available for installation in Derby. If you are thinking about installing solar, now is the time. ... Commercial customers can pay nothing up front with finance options available. Don't hesitate to call Duane on 0408 956 472.

13.01.2022 A story about solar systems and cars, and what makes us a good local business choice. Consider you were after a car to own in Derby or Fitzroy Crossing, where the road conditions are extreme, spare parts are hard to come by, and service & maintenance is limited. No offence meant to the Nissan (or other good cars) owners out there, but for the purpose of this exercise, most would consider a Toyota right? Easy to get hold of parts, strong warranty, nice and reliable. ... A little 2 door Yaris will get you around and serve a purpose, but is limited in where it can go, and how many people it comfortably carries. A Camry is a nice solid mid range car but again wont take you off road or over a high kerb. Hilux - now were talking solid Kimberley vehicles. Good grunt, all access, not many frills. LandCruiser Prado - a family 4WD - powerful and go-anywhere. LandCruiser 200 series - the highest in off-road capabilities, comfort and looks flash as Michael Jackson. @remotesolarsolutions sticks with reliable solar panels and equipment. We stick with the Toyotas of the solar world. We recommend a Hilux or Prado, but are more than happy to work with a 200 series or a Yaris (or any other Toyota) if thats what the customer wants, can afford, or requires. We will not try and sell you a Range Rover, and we will not work with a Great Wall, just because they are a car. We sell what we know works well in these conditions and can be easily sorted if an unforeseen problem arises. Our installers live here in the Kimberley, and their workmanship is top notch. We like to think customer service is too (direct feedback always welcome). Any problems or questions and we are not far away at all to help out. credit BusinessGreen

12.01.2022 Weve been hitting 45 degrees here in Derby, which makes panels close to 80 degrees. This means they lose about 15-20% efficiency in these crazy hot December days . To overcome this we always oversize systems with more panels to cater for efficiency losses and keep the power up to the inverters, so the output and your solar power produced stays as close to maximum as possible all year round.

12.01.2022 A new government grant is available for not-for-profit entities of up to $12,500 including solar system sale and installation. With only 2 per electorate available, we can promptly provide a quote those considering applying from the West Kimberley shire. https://www.business.gov.au//Community-Energy-Efficiency-a

12.01.2022 Good news for renewables in the Kimberley! Hopefully they can engage the services of local businesses for the work

10.01.2022 Nice big 13kW east/west array should see this family homes bills drop in no time. #winaico 330 watt panels with a 10kw #fronius symo inverter. credit Z. Wilson @ Derby, Western Australia

10.01.2022 Wishing everyone a safe and happy Christmas Our phones are still on, and emails are still checked, however we appreciate your patience in receiving a reply while we enjoy this time as a family. We will be fully back on board at the end of January.

09.01.2022 A recent battery bank replacement on an off-grid system out at a tourism operation up the Gibb River Road.

04.01.2022 Reading your power bill after solar installation - weve had a few queries from people post install not sure if their power bill is correct. Blue circle: reading date must be after your solar installation to see ANY savings. If its only a few days after, there may not be a large impact yet, $5-10/day savings as an estimate depending on system size. Red circle: normal reading type reflects actual meter reading, estimated reading type may not reflect reduced consumption ...due to solar and can be queried with Horizon Power. Green circle: if your system is eligible for buyback you should see this on your bill. If its not there, it may be that Horizon Power has not processed their paperwork in time for this bill to register your installation, and credits will show on the next bill. They have advised one of our customers that this was the case. Dont forget the biggest savings come from power that is consumed directly from your solar. This can be viewed through your monitoring app to know how much you are actually saving and what your bill might otherwise be.

04.01.2022 A regular coffee stop for us and lovely people, plus THE BEST chocolate brownies ever. 20kW of quality solar fitted last week is now boosting Jilas power supply, #winaico 330 panels paired with 5 and 10 kW #fronius inverters. Sunday is their big trading and energy consumption day with brekky and dinner on a 46 degree day. Only 45 units were taken off the grid, compared to 150 units same day last year!! Shading analysis helped determine system design with all the necessary air flow gadgets on the roof being avoided. #qualitygear #solar #solarsystem #jilagallery

02.01.2022 Solar panel boxes make the best cubby houses! @winaico #winaico #solarpanels #recycleandplay

02.01.2022 Its been a very dry and dusty winter here in the Kimberley, first rains should see the roof all shiny and clean like these newly installed #winaico 330 watt panels.

01.01.2022 Last rooftop install for 2019 and we went big! North facing roof space was limited so we selected REC twin peak panels to power the 3kW #fronius inverter. At 2m by 1m these 370 watt panels will do the trick. #renewableenergy #rooftopsolar #rec #recsolar #solarpanels #remotesolarsolutions #qualitysolar
