25.01.2022 It's always fun to receive photos of our shoes being worn. These ones are in Victoria doing tiny laps of the block when allowed out. Hopefully soon they will be able to venture further.

21.01.2022 These custom made ankle boots were delivered today. Our customer needed her boots to have a good opening to allow her to place her foot flat in her shoes. She wanted them to be snazzy and to look like zip up boots. She is excited to wear them out in Tamworth on Saturday. Happy days!

20.01.2022 Losing the last of the Friday evening light. This pair is almost ready to send down to Victoria. The second pair for a customer we met at The Lost Trades Fair in Bendigo back in March. She chose the leather colours and the fabric lining.

19.01.2022 Layers of vegan materials make up these ones. The sewing machine is quite capable, but still does not like to be pressured too much. Pinatex (made from pineapple bits), upcycled jeans, insole board and super squishy foam.

19.01.2022 Building up lasts is the thing that makes me most nervous. We do this to get a perfect and unique fit for each of our customers. If I do this incorrectly, the shoes won't fit!

19.01.2022 Back to the shoe making shed for me tomorrow. Our sheep are pretty much all finished being shorn and are headed for the trees to shelter.

08.01.2022 Always the best feedback to have. Remember the gold boots? They have arrived at their new home and i just got this back from their new owner: "They are amazing! I LOVVVEEEEE THEM!!!" Oh happy days!!!

07.01.2022 So the snow didn't eventuate. It hand been over 6 degrees this week, but it's still beautiful and we're still getting some shed time in. Warm colours like these tangerine Rachel boots help.

03.01.2022 We have so much of this beige leather thanks to a shoe repair business in Sydney that was closing down. It makes excellent test boots!

02.01.2022 New equipment arrived today. New (old) lasts, a heavy duty sewing machine and a welt massager (sounds dodgy, but it should make for fabulous smooth seams). We need a bigger shed!!!

01.01.2022 We have a beautiful wedgetail eagle living on our farm now. He has spent 9 months being rehabilitated near Uralla and is now ready for the wild again. Thank you to Northern Tablelands Wildlife Carers.
