We are now conducting the innovative solution of specialised tender review for all drilling tenders. This solution is designed to make the selection process of a contractor for a project simple and time positive for Geologists and program managers. With the current climate, once a req...uest for tender goes out you are likely to receive a large influx of tenders. Giving these tenders the attention they deserve is time consuming. For a small fee you can send us copies of the tenders with the contractors name redacted along with the Targets and KPI’s required to be met and we will go through them and make our recommendations, narrowing the list of potential tenders for you to choose from. Whilst Geologists are professional and very good program managers there are a lot of factors that go into a Drilling contract that can affect costs and the end result, that are difficult to predict without operational drilling experience. The largest cost involved in a drilling these days is Diesel, factors that may seem irrelevant such as rig, pump or compressor type can have a large factor on diesel consumption and its percentage of efficient availability. Drilling conditions and meter per shift targets also play a role in overall fuel costs to the job. Other significant factors that need to be considered are drilling fluid additives (both over use and under use can attribute to large cost blowouts), drilling company experience and maintenance records. 15.01.2022 Spent two days at the Charters Towers round-up. I think it was the best seminar I have been to in a long time. There is a lot of potential in the North and let's hope we can see that potential realised. A big thank you to Terra Search and Klondike for putting it together, and all the Geologists for their presentations.

14.01.2022 We not only sell a large range of spill gear, we also install. This is a fuelling bay we installed heavy duty drive over bunding and sealed the concrete with diesel resistant and non slip epoxy at one of the local rail yards.
