16.01.2022 It's the End of an Era! Yesterday marked our final performance for Young Australia Workshop, who have managed out schools program for the past 9 years. At the end of this year, they'll be transforming into Sharing Indigenous Perspectives and we'll be continuing our Arts in Education program with School Performance Tours. Young Australia has been with Solid State Circus from the very start, and with them we've toured all over Australia performing literally thousands of shows ...for pre, primary and high school students in every state and territory. At one stage we hit the magic number that 1 in every 25 school-aged children had seen our show. We've brought 16 different acrobats & performers along for the ride, performed in the freezing cold and the boiling heat, in gyms, halls, ovals and even libraries - and we couldn't have done it without the amazing support of Glen and the whole Young Australia Workshop team. We wish them all the best for their transition to their new endeavour, and you'll be seeing us back on the road next year! See more

13.01.2022 Happy 9th Birthday, Solid State Circus! We've had an amazing year, with the absolute highlight being our first international tour (I know, we couldn't believe it either!). Big Tops & Tiny Tots Circus Show toured to festivals around England and then capped it off with a sold out debut season at Edinburgh Fringe, and Hemlock brought a brand new street show to the Royal Mile at long last. Our 10th year is off to a slow Corona-induced start, but we can't wait to come out of Isolation and share what we've been working on!
