08.01.2022 An example of how the new boosting cash flow for employers will work; Doug owns a finance company in Melbourne. He employs 12 staff, with average salary of $50,000 per year. Doug reports withholding of $8,650 for his employees in each of his monthly BAS.... Under the Governments new scheme, Doug will be eligible to receive the payments on lodgment of his relevant BAS. Dougs business will receive the boosting cash flow for employers: A credit of $25,950 for the March period, equal to 300 per cent of his total withholding. A credit of $8,650 for the April period. A credit of $8,650 for the May period. A credit of $6,750 for the June period, before he reaches the $50,000 cap. The second additional payment will be Doug will also receive an additional payment of $12,500 for the June period, equal to 25 per cent of his total Boosting Cash Flow for Employers payments. An additional payment of $12,500 for the July period, equal to 25 per cent of his total Boosting Cash Flow for Employers payments. An additional payment of $12,500 for the August period, equal to 25 per cent of his total Boosting Cash Flow for Employers payments. An additional payment of $12,500 for the September period, equal to 25 per cent of his total.

With technology the way of the future, we now offer an electronic alternative in completing your tax return. Instead of the hassle of collating your paperwork and finding your way to our office, we invite you to send through your documents via email. Once we have completed your returns, we will send you an email to arrange a telephone appointment to go through your deductions. When you as the tax payer are satisfied with your return we will send you your tax return for electronic signature. Once signed via Docusign we will lodge your tax return with the ATO. Its as easy as that! Of course, you are still welcome to book an appointment and come and see your chosen accountant if you prefer. To get in touch send us through a private message.
