25.01.2022 I know it doesn't seem ideal to have a winter photoshoot, but hear me out! Firstly, the light and sunset is ALWAYS so, so beautiful. Even on overcast days. Winter fashion - super cosy and you can add so much texture to your images.... The sun sets earlier so you can be home in time for dinner (or you have little one's joining you, you can still make bed time). Lastly (and this is the best part) you can move around and enjoy your session without feeling hot and sweaty!

23.01.2022 Even though 2020 has been a tough year for many couples, I think its really made a lot of people consider whether a big traditional wedding is really the best choice for them. Often times we make choices, even as adults, that we dont necessarily want to do but feel obligated to. And I think the big wedding is one of those times. For some couples it is absolutely the best and right choice for them, and the extravagance is something that excites them. But for other couples, i...t becomes more of a time for others than themselves. Its stressful, expensive and becomes more of a chore than something they are excited for. The real point of the whole thing becomes lost amongst all the planning and stress. This is the reason I have decided that micro weddings and elopements are more aligned with what I value, and what I will be focusing on. I want to help couples to navigate their journey and keep the focus on themselves and their marriage. I want to reassure people that they can make choices that suit them, and not out of obligation. So if you need someone to tell you its ok to only invite a few of you closest friends and family, or none at all. I am here to support you.

And you have to state you havent been overseas in 14 days to gain access to businesses, even though theres a mandatory quarantine to anyone entering the country for 14 days . 2020 is so far, a very strange year

10.01.2022 When clients enquire about shoots, I always send some wardrobe suggestions. I do this because the final outcome of the images are hugely influenced by the tone and cohesiveness of outfits. Generally speaking, adding things like texture, complementing but not matching clothes, and avoiding unnatural colours and bold prints is a great way to have timeless images that edit well and look like most of whats featured on my website and socials. Daisy however, lives to prove you dont have to follow the rules. You can be bloody fabulous in hot pink polka dot bathers with giant Minnie Mouse stickers stuck to your hands
