25.01.2022 Holiday dates! Last session of 2014: Thursday 4th December is an open practice session. Come along to get a bit of practice in, or to ask a question, perhaps clarify something that's been bugging you all year. We'll also be looking at some of the bits and pieces Sam, Laura, and Bec picked up at Sea Of Rhythm - so come along if you were also at SOR and want to clarify/share things you learnt.... What's happening in 2015? We will be operating under the new name Swing Dance Sydney https://www.facebook.com/SwingDanceSydney and will be moving all our Facebook chatter to that page. Which means this page will slowly slip into disuse, quietly and sadly slipping away until no one remembers it at all. :( Better rush over and like the Swing Dance Sydney page so you don't get mired in the swamps of sadness like Artax. Jazz dance: it's an emotional roller coaster.

22.01.2022 Hello! There will be no formal solo jazz class at Stanmore this week :( But we are still booked at La Fiesta Dance Factory 6.30-7.30, so some peeps will be meeting to work on various bits and pieces from Sea of Rhythm, so if you're interested in coming along and having a bit of general workshoppy learn-and-dance, you're very welcome.... We're also very happy to work on partner dancing questions and issues you want to resolve. Don't expect a formal class, but do feel free to ask your friends (that means people who usually teach the class too) to work on little issues that're bothering you.

09.01.2022 Tonight: Alice solo because yolo again because everyone else is in Melbourne for Sea of Rhythm. We're sure she'll be _fine_. Class content: good. Bring your questions, as Alice has been teaching some 'workshop' style classes, where you can bring your problems (dance problems only please) or 'areas of special interest' to work on in the session.

YES. - we revise Frankie Manning's Posin' choreography that Lennart taught the Jazz BANG challenge class (and which we PWND last week)... - we learn the last phrase of that routine - we play some rhythm games - we return to the routine, this time paying attention to the way Frankie makes the rhythms in Posin' visible.
