23.01.2022 Hi all. We hope you have been well during these epic times. We wanted to let you know that in a decision we fully understand and support, Buddha House is closed to the public as of 23 March for at least a few months. This includes Tara Hall and as such, we are unable to run martial arts classes at this stage. We thank you for your support and understanding and urge you to continue practices at home.... We will certainly inform you when classes recommence, for now take this time to study the syllabus and perhaps acquire some of the texts on the reading list. Best wishes stay safe. 22.01.2022 Hi All! We hope you have been safe and well. Exciting news! The Boxing and Martial Arts Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing have given us the go ahead to start classes again.... With our Covid-Safe Plan in place, we will re-open: WEDNESDAY 8 JULY 2020. Hope to see you there. Fine print: "Indoor contact sport training is permitted on and after 25 June, as long as the number of participants does not exceed 20. This does not include coaches/instructors. The person conducting the activity is required to make and retain contact tracing records for persons attending the activity. Physical distancing measures will still be required by all at the venue other than when the participants are involved in the contact training. Social Distancing: Social distancing measures must still be followed. 1 person per 4 square metres.1.5 metres between people. Gatherings: A maximum of 80 people may gather at a venue ‘as a whole’ (Venues with multiple courts and playing fields and indoor recreation centres are classified as 1 venue). A maximum of 20 people are permitted per group/room."
