23.01.2022 Today we are giving a special shout out to Richard and Barbara Higgins, from Victor Harbor, South Australia. It's their 42nd wedding anniversary, which of itself is a worthy achievement. But there's a few things worth knowing about Richard and Barbara....so here we go! They run a little community cafe at Victor Harbor Beachside Market called 'What If' and serve amazing treats and yummy coffee to the locals at the market. They use our coffee because they love our ethics and ...believe that if we worked together the world could be a genuinely better place. And finally we want to celebrate Barbara and Richard because of their indomitable spirit. For the past four years Barbara has battled an aggressive cancer. At times it has looked pretty dire. All the way, Richard has stood with her: they are confronting this crappy disease together. The lows and the highs and everything in between. They are incredibly inspiring people, and their story is worth reflecting on right now as we face a series of pretty massive issues in Australia: drought, fires, floods and now COVID-19. Stand by each other, friends. The only way we can get through is together. Happy anniversary, Richard and Barbara!!! May there be many more yet. Andrew and Chris
