25.01.2022 It was a full house on Saturday at the SomaChi Yoga Foundations Workshop held at Summer Healing Somachi, Fitzroy. Thank you to all who joined us and this i...ncluded some people who had not as yet been in a SomaChi class which I found was wonderful. Soma is the Alive body Chi is Energy We looked at the mind body energy practice which is SomaChi and what it means for us on the mat and in our lives. Thank you also to all who helped spread the word. Also a big appreciation to Victoria Kes Bambi Bolton and Faye Ray for assisting at the workshop :))

20.01.2022 SomaChi Yoga Workshop w/ Nicky Davidson ~ An Introduction to the Foundations of the SomaChi Practice. Third Post for this series on our SomaChi Workshop.... The Quality of Transitions within SomaChi yoga are a graceful form that has a slow motiont at times, a dance like quality that builds Chi. Within the SomaChi practice we learn and experience how to embody these transitions for many reasons including : ~ Harness Chi which builds internal heat & energy ~ Inspire ease, grace & fluidity ~ Finding our ground for support & trusting this ground ~ Coming into relationship with qualities of space. Part of this workshop will include looking at this within the movements & transitions of the sequences. 06.01.2022 A big thank you to all those who participated within the SomaChi Foundations workshop today at Smith Street Yoga Studio. It was a great turn out and heart wa...rming to see their interest and openness to explore more of the heart / mind, body and energy practices within SomaChi. SomaChi Yoga is an experiential practice where feeling and sensing, curiosity and openness are a big part of what we bring to the movement. Those in the workshop today certainly had this happening So many of the movements take us again and again to our Heart Connection of giving & receiving , reminding us of Wisdom and Compassion. 03.01.2022 Training within SomaChi, now in partnership with Om Yoga is where my yoga and meditation life has grown from & continues still SomaChi Yoga Could not speak highly enough of how incredibly worthwhile the training is with Lianne & Peter... It is a Yoga training that I have seen almost all teachers each year step out into teaching with the groundedness, skills and confidence ......
