25.01.2022 Designing perfect retirement communities All Aura Holdings’ villages are unique and have been designed to be as individual as their location and their residents. The sites for our vertical living communities are always chosen in prime locations near all facilities and amenities just where people desire to retire.

23.01.2022 Two residents of Aura Holdings’ established retirement community in Brisbane’s southwest proudly consider themselves escapees’’ from aged-care facilities. Ill health led both to spend time in nursing homes but these determined women saw their successful rehabilitation to better health as the only way out. Now they live happy and independent lives, with some in-home support, in their own apartments at Kingsford Terrace Corinda. Read their inspirational stories here:

20.01.2022 Construction update! Thanks to our Development Manager, Jon for the update and photos. The lower ground carpark formwork propping is being removed and the services install has commenced, whilst the lower ground apartments have been inspected by the BCC plumber and the waterproofing has started. Meanwhile the ground level (level 1) has been propped full of scaffolding for the concrete pour above of level 2!... Points of interest to note: The gold door frame colour is a precoated finish on steel door frames to pool area. This is a high anti-corrosive undercoat as we can expect salt in the air in the pool zones. Unit tags on walls - these plans and sign-off sheets will track unit changes and trade completions. The trades physically sign the sheet when they complete the unit, as well as complete the online Procore sign-off.

20.01.2022 Seventy-five years ago, Australian forces liberated hundreds of ethnic Chinese prisoners of a Japanese civilian forced labour camp called Ratongor in New Guinea at the end of the Second World War. One of the very few books about the Chinese in New Guinea is by 85-year-old New Guinea-born Australian historian Dr Peter Cahill, who we’re very proud to say is a resident at our Aura village, Kingsford Terrace Corinda. SBS News have featured Dr Cahill and his book, Needed But Not Wanted in an article to remember this important part of history please click on the link below to read the story.

14.01.2022 It's been a big few days of construction with the slab for the part of the carpark being poured, footings going in to building 1 and building 2's blockwork going in for the lower ground apartments... it's all really taking shape!

10.01.2022 HUMANS OF AURA Val Donovan: nurse, wife, mother, historian, culture-vulture I think I’ve had a very interesting and fulfilling life. I was born in 1934 in the Sunshine Coast hinterland town of Eumundi long before it was trendy. We lived about 15 minutes’ drive from Kenilworth in the small settlement known as Adams Town, named after my family. The photograph of the family was taken about 1936, in the midst of the Great Depression. That is the reason the ducks are hanging from ...Continue reading

06.01.2022 Pinch and a punch! It’s the first day of October?! Who else is confused about where the year has gone?

06.01.2022 Construction update! Thanks to our Development Manager, Jon, for the update and photos! As the building 2 second pour is expected to take later this week, you can see the final steel fixing being completed. Note the huge amount of reinforcing steel as well as the post tensioning strands in this slab. Block work is almost complete on last week's slab pour area of building 2. Once complete, the formwork from the level below will be brought up and start forming the level 1 deck.... All slabs on ground (carparking and apartments) are completed for buildings 1 and 2. The spa and pool shells are ready for the surround slabs to be formed. The adjacent yoga, gym, salon, massage and consulting rooms slabs are poured. All bulk earthworks are complete so there are no more diggers and trucks on site moving fill.

01.01.2022 Today at 11am on 11th November, we're remembering those who died or suffered in all wars and armed conflicts and we're thanking all for their service. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning ... We will remember them. Thanks to the residents of our Kingsford Terrace Corinda for sharing this photo of the quilt and wreath on display in their reception.
