14.01.2022 I hope this is a good omen for our 2016 Brahman Week Sale Bulls!!

12.01.2022 SOMERSET PARK JAXON (071) is being offered as Lot No: 144 at the Rockhampton Brahman Week Sale being held at CQLX Gracemere 7th to the 9th of October, 2019. Jaxon is a very correct, clean poll Bull with a sirey head and good sized, uniformed and all round correct testicles. His scrotal circumference is 40 cm with a crush side semen motility test of 80%. He weighs 742 kg with P8 of 21, rib fat 15, EMA 123 and IMF 4.7%. Jaxon was coastal paddock prepared and is a very easy Bull to handle with a good temperament.

12.01.2022 We put Oak Westward Manso 66/1 over some of the recip cows that didn't take embryos in our last program. The majority of calves born are polled and have good frames and coverage even though they were out of fairly ordinary cows.

10.01.2022 We are proud to showcase SOMERSET PARK GOVERNOR who is being offered as Lot No: 145 at the 2019 Rockhampton Brahman Week Sale being held at CQLX Gracemere from the 7th to the 9th of October. At only 29 months of age, Governor is a heavy boned scurred Bull with a fantastic growth rate. When weaned at 10 months he weighed 377 kg. He has surpassed all that was asked of him in his sale preparation with regards to his temperament and performance. We joined Governor with several of... our top first calf horned heifers yielding polled calves now at foot. We also did semen collection producing straws which were of a high quality with proven thawing capabilities and an excellent morphology evaluation of 90% Spermiogram summary after thawing. We are including a package of 25 of these straws with Governor at the Brahman Week Sale. Governor is an all round easy Bull to handle and has excellent scanning results for a Bull of his age. He is ALL beef as is attested to by his EMA result of 145 and IMF score of 4.7%. We believe that Governor is the best Bull we have produced to date and we look forward, with pride, to presenting him in the ring at Brahman Week on Sale day. See more

08.01.2022 This is the used Sire we are offering for sale at 2019 All Breeds at Gracemere on 12th of February. Lot No: 28 Oak Westward Manso 66/1. Westward is a well built large animal who is extremely agile and sound for his size and has no problem covering any size cow. Westward is an extraordinary, virile and prolific breeder with a very high libido. Even though Westward is a scurred bull, he has produced 80%+ polled calves with the majority out of horned cows. An ideal bull to put size into polled progeny. Quiet and easy to handle.

He is a used Sire having been utilised by Ray and Shirley Watt (Kuttabul) who are retaining his heifers as breeding stock. Churchill has been fully Vet checked and a copy of the Soundness Evaluation Certificate will be available for buyers on Sale day.
