25.01.2022 Sage never was big on table manners.

24.01.2022 Help with afternoon feed rounds. Great job guys. Happy kids, happy life.

24.01.2022 Another scorcher. Josie can destroy a clean water tub in just a few minutes. Who's a clever cool girl.

23.01.2022 Things I don't really like to post..but there are still too many just left unfortunately. If you see or accidently hit a Kangaroo or Wallaby, please always check the pouch. Precious cargo may be onboard. Little Whiptail boy on the day of rescue. Settled now and feeding well.

23.01.2022 Hitch has a friend. Meet Hike. I couldn't resist. Unlike brushtails which are solitary animals, ringtails are raised in creches. Mum always has twins atleast..often more. I guess the boy's will want a girlfriend now.

23.01.2022 New Whiptail wallaby for prelease. No wonder they call them 'Pretty Face' as well. A quick bottle and checkover and she's settled in the pen.

22.01.2022 New ringtail twins from Forest Lake, a boy and a girl. Mum was being swooped by birds and they were unfortunately separated. Our attempts to reunite them were unsuccessful. Hoping mum stays safe.

22.01.2022 Lucky is getting huge! You can see he just loves his milk. More than visits from me.

21.01.2022 Little Mickey is showing those big kids how it's done. Swamp wallabies are not shy.

21.01.2022 Very sad to say that neither of the pinkie ringtails survived. I honestly can't say I'm surprised. Had I had seen them or had correct weights before they arrived...I honestly would have suggested they be euthanised. Unless their ears are up and eyes fully open, we just are sadly unable to get these tiny guys through. They were warm and feed 3 hourly. Back to be with mum. (Pic taken the day they arrived)

21.01.2022 Little Speck is definitely the liveliest in the house.

21.01.2022 Lucia has had a few days unwell. Bright and alert again now, and saying let me go back to bed.

20.01.2022 Update from his new carer mum...Little Flake is doing well.

20.01.2022 Dinner time for the ringtails. The fastest they move all day.

19.01.2022 Josie and her joey. Needed more time to see if we have a boy or girl. Definitely gorgeous though.

19.01.2022 Josie and Aj home this morning.

19.01.2022 The greys weren't too sure of these red fluffy things. They decided to stick to their grass. More for the Swampies.

18.01.2022 A close up of Josie's joey..A boy! Still thinking of a name.

17.01.2022 Holly needed a post bottle cuddle.. Holly is a big sook..

17.01.2022 The Whiptails and Rednecked Wallabies are all enjoying their move to the graduating pen. Plenty of room to get up to mischief. Next step is release.

17.01.2022 Enjoyed a visit from 'Flake' yesterday. Well over 200gr now and doing well.

17.01.2022 Food is my 'happy place', 'Lucky' much calmer now.

15.01.2022 A beautiful, but very shy new little Eastern Grey boy. Only mine until Monday...going to another carer with a buddy the same size. So hard not to fall in love.

15.01.2022 Not a great night for sleep.., but company has been good. Tessa..

14.01.2022 Dinner is served. Lucky is tucking in early too.

13.01.2022 Piper loves her bottle.

12.01.2022 One of the kids are back. A different visitor since last time.

12.01.2022 I just love the way they use their paws. Ariel and friends.

12.01.2022 A year ago today, and look at me now! Sebastian. Eastern Greys are usually in care for around 18 months until release.

12.01.2022 Mickey and Nutmeg enjoying their bottle brush treat.

12.01.2022 Just when I think I'm early. They're even earlier.

12.01.2022 Had my little visitor back last night. Room service was nice enough to provide snacks.

11.01.2022 So nice to see Josie home with her joey.

10.01.2022 New little Eastern Grey girl Piper.

10.01.2022 All so well behaved, when there's food involved.

10.01.2022 Someone's alarm clock was set later than mine. Sorry Heidi...you could have stayed in bed. Whiptail wallaby.

10.01.2022 A lot of the big kids home this afternoon. This is what makes the work worth it. Not sure about the big black one though. 'Head of Security' is everwhere.

10.01.2022 Little Nutmeg is standing for his bottle now. Next step is to get him to hold it too.

09.01.2022 New brushtail out for pre-release. Dinner is ready and waiting.

09.01.2022 Heidi the new Whiptail is enjoying the space.

09.01.2022 Ariel in a milk coma.

08.01.2022 Tessa and Lucia.. Sleepy rednecked wallaby friends.

08.01.2022 Meal worm time.. yum!

07.01.2022 Washing her paws after lunch.. Apparently, I needed a quick clean as well. Thank you Holly.

07.01.2022 Best rednecked friends 'Freddy and Marvin', ready for the big wild world.

06.01.2022 I dropped off some meds to a lovely gentleman in Brisbane. This is a brushtail with Exudative Dermatitis after 6 days of treatment. Still on a treatment plan but happy with the outcome so far. This is NOT a death sentence, nor is it as painful as it looks. Poss is a bright and happy boy.

05.01.2022 My new little grey boy went off to be with his new Mum and buddy today. Safe travels little guy. Hopefully I'll see you again when it's time to learn to be free.

05.01.2022 Holly says "remember to wash those hands."

05.01.2022 Afternoon tea. Mickey's a happy boy!

04.01.2022 Jila was bright and alert at last feed. A shame it was 3am.

04.01.2022 A nice little mob of big kids home tonight. All of the females with joeys.. and Aj already learning to look for the camera.

03.01.2022 Yesterday's new arrivals, twin ringtail possums. A boy and a girl. Only 30 and 32 gram. So tiny with a long way to go.

02.01.2022 New little brushtail joey 'Lucky'. Definitely not a big fan of mine yet. It just takes time.

02.01.2022 An adult male rednecked wallaby chased by dogs and then caught in fencing. Domestic animals and wildlife don't mix. Please keep cats and dogs restrained. A little brighter this morning. A long way to go though. One frightened boy. Fright and macropods don't mix.

02.01.2022 Sebastian has found his comfy spot.

02.01.2022 When you have to go the long way around. Still working on Josie's car safety skills.
