25.01.2022 Heartspace drama workshops are proving popular with the younger generation, after a 6 week course these children have shown plenty of interest in these programs and continued to learn all about the arts and drama last weekend. New program and dates will be up shortly so watch this space

06.01.2022 Just had confirmation from QLD Health NO DANCING still in venues, unless it is a wedding. Fines still apply. Sorry people who have been saying that you can dance as of the 1st December. I have just been on the phone with QLD Health to clarify this all.

06.01.2022 We have a great meeting planned for Next Tuesday, this October marks 10 years of the Valley of the Lakes Garden Club, we have a few special things to help celeb...rate. There will be extra raffle prizes, A lovely full-size birdbath in vibrant blue hues that will look fabulous in the garden. Two wildlife water bowls one for our amphibian garden friends and a bee water bowl with a native blue banded bee, it even has a set of flower stairs, so the bees don't drown. We also have a $100 dollar voucher for Brisbane Valley Hardware as well as lots of plants and other garden related prizes. Please note this month’s raffle is only open to garden club members. Our speaker for the day is Sean Morrow he will talk on creating Frog & wildlife habitat gardens. Attendance is RSVP numbers are still limited to 100, please email [email protected] . And remember If you or a member of your household are sick always stay at home. Everyone is expected to conform with social distancing and obey the Somerset Civic Centre covid safe plan. NO shared food tables. Members are most welcome to BYO their own snack. Tea and coffee will be available.
