24.01.2022 We have had requests for merch purchases in the lead up to Christmas. We still have keyrings, coolers and earrings available for purchase at any time. One specific request was a bag like the coaches bags, so Kelly Clark has delivered Perfect for school, sports gear or even sleepovers. These bags can be ordered by contacting Kelly on [email protected] or commenting below, she will be placing the order soon. $30 for the standard Storm bag or $32 personalised!

22.01.2022 You are all amazing! Thanks to all the donations for our fundraising bbq we were able to make a great profit on what turned out to be an unfortunately quiet day. We had nearly no overheads! Many Storm Families donated food and drinks and Brisbane Valley Farm Direct gave us the snags! Looking forward to not only raising funds for the club but also showing the community the new club in town :) We would be thankful for any donations for the bbq, soft drink cans and fresh eggs would be fantastic. 17.01.2022 Don’t forget it isn’t just games this Saturday morning! After each round we will be having a presentation for our amazing members. While it is not exactly the break up party we planned, we aren’t letting the season go without some celebration. Our fav coffee van will be with us again and an ice cream van for even more treats. Also visit the Merchandise Tent for your Storm gear, now with new stock! Last opportunity to volunteer for the club, with a bigger morning planned it is especially needed to have more hands on deck. 15.01.2022 And that’s a wrap for training at our gorgeous home grounds maintained to perfection by our Platinum sponsors A & M Civil The ladies head on up to the Sunny coast on Thursday and our Jnr teams head over to learn some indoor skills for their last remaining sessions.. The next time we’ll have a crowd at the courts will be 2021 AGM and club sign up where we’ll welcome back our awesome Storm family and share our Storm love with some new members.

09.01.2022 Our amazing uniform coordinator Kelly has said she is happy to sell any second hand uniforms on consignment and display them at the Storm Sign On Day. We also have our second hand uniform page that you can post to. So don’t forget to get those uniforms out soon and see if they will fit for another year as the new season isn’t far away!

08.01.2022 I am so incredibly proud to have these fierce and passionate women as role models of our club. They worked hard for themselves and each other Over the past 4 days we have smashed out a mammoth 19 games of netball. Lots of fun was had, lots of sweat was shed and a few muscles strongly reminded us they were there In Fast 5 we made it to the Semis. Although we were defeated we showed that the Somerset Storm is a club with integrity and great sportsmanship by staying on... at the courts to support the teams in the grand final. Today the team battled it out in a gruelling grand final in the standard netball comp and walked away as runners up by a mere 2 points. Congratulations to Jade, Jaimie, Sharon, Emma, Robyn, Sheridan, Ivy, Allie and Sam on a fantastic comp. I can’t wait to hit the courts with you ladies next year Bec E

This will reduce the volunteer hours required and allow each Committee member to focus on their role. Considering what 2020 hit us with, we are extremely proud of what we were able to achieve as a club. Jump on board and help us to further develop netball within our Somerset region and provide a warm, safe and fun outlet to meet our communities social and fitness needs.
