24.01.2022 Saturday 28th November. Pennant Re-commencement Notification. PENNANT: As predicted MBA are planning to recommence pennant bowls as from Wednesday 2nd December. Final details are not sorted at this stage but play will commence with round 9 games that were scheduled to be played on 2nd PENNANT December. Rounds 7 and 8 that have been missed MAY be played later in the season.... Urgent: Ray Whichelo said in his message earlier today if you are not available to play on Wednesday 2nd December add your name to the unavailability list in the clubrooms or let the selectors know. 11.01.2022 SHADES and SEATS for A Green all completed June 2020. Marty and his team of volunteers - Jim Martin, Jack Holland, Lynn Jones, Dane Fulwood, Brian Hillier, Dennis Jarvis, Brian Trout, Kari Heikkonen and Michael Fahey have done a great job installing these new club facilities. Thank you to the State Government for a funding grant to make this possible.

10.01.2022 Hi to all members As we all are working to ensure COVID-19 restrictions apply we noticed that the clubrooms/tables this morning after Thursday social bowls were not cleaned accordingly to COVID standards. We are all volunteers and therefore we WANT MEMBERS to return all glasses returned to the bar, clean the tables and make sure all chairs are returned to the tables to maintain social distancing. PLEASE ALL HELP THE CLUB. NOTE: spray and disposal towels are available at the bar.

05.01.2022 4/10/2020 To all Pennant players The new pennant season is about to commence and should be an exciting one for our club, we are welcoming many new members into the club and I want to point out the importance to our new players and our present players of notifying us of any unavailability you may have for pennant games as early as possible during the season. This can be done by entering your name and the date you are unavailable on the unavailable lists provided on the noticeb...oard in the corridor. If you need to withdraw nearer to matchday please SMS the Chairman of Selectors on 0468 845 596 Wednesday Pennants Although we have tried everything possible to have 5 sides playing in the Wednesday Pennant Competition in the 2020/2021 season we have not succeeded. Our aim was to ensure that all players would have a game each Wednesday. Due to circumstances beyond their control several of our members can no longer commit to play and our required number of players have fallen below the number needed for the 5th side we had applied for. The result of the lower number of players has caused us to go back to the MBA and we now have only enough players to enter 4 sides in this year’s Wednesday Pennant competition. We will now have more than the required players for our 4 sides and this leaves us no option other than to employ the rotation of players in the 3 rink sides.
