10.01.2022 Hello, I just discovered this group and I'm so glad it exists. As much as I love cinema, there's a reason that I never wanted to make films. I saw Krzysztof Kie...slowski's "Three Colors: Red" when I was 17 and it had a profound effect on me. It was the first foreign language film I had ever seen, and it was operating on a level that I didn't even know was possible. I knew that I would never be able to create something with as much truth and beauty as that film, so I decided to never even try. Watching it again a few weeks ago confirmed that Red was still my favorite movie. My career took a different path - I became a graphic designer / illustrator. I've been creating alternative movie posters for awhile, but I always stopped short of designing one for the Three Colors Trilogy because I was too intimidated by it. Because of the pandemic, I've had a lot of extra time on my hands and decided to finally give it a try. I wanted to share them with people who might appreciate them.
