23.01.2022 Victorian Lighting Rebates Ending Soon. The VIC lighting rebates have been reviewed under the Victorian Energy Upgrades program (VEU; formerly known as VEET). Changes to the government rebates available for commercial LED lighting upgrades will take place starting from March 2021. Starting from 31 March 2021, the rebates will be reduced by 40%. From 31 January 2022, rebates will be reduced further by 60%... Rebates are fully removed by 31 January 2023 If you still have old lights that could be upgraded, this is your last chance to secure a fully-subsidised upgrade you might even be able to get an LED lighting upgrade for FREE. Eligible areas include, warehouses, factories, work shops, cool rooms, retail show rooms, car parks, internal and external areas. These infrastructure provide places and spaces for building community. ... Two categories are available to choose from: 1. Planning - grant amounts of up to $50,000* For costs associated with planning & feasibility activities for future infrastructure projects 2. Capital Works delivery - grant amounts of up to $350,000* can be provided for the construction of "ready to go" projects. Your organisation must contribute at least one third of the total grant funded. Council will provide two thirds (2/3) up to the maximum value of the grant.
