01.01.2022 Hi Songbirds - Can you believe it's the middle of January already? We hope you have had a lovely Christmas and New Years celebration! Our family has enjoyed some time away at our favourite beach side getaway. In the coming weeks I will be coordinating the Term 1 timetables. Please note our 202 Term 1 dates - Lessons commence in Week 2 this term. Look forward to catching up soon.

01.01.2022 Coronavirus Covid19 Update Dear Songbirds, Unfortunately , there is not much avoiding the fast paced media reporting and information surrounding Covid19. I wanted to outline our contingency and risk management plan.... In the event that Queensland Department of Health gives a directive to close schools in our local area. Songbird Music Education Centre will close. You will be notified via text message should the studio be closed. Lessons will be credited off your next term invoice. Alternatively it may be possible to continue lessons via video link technology. If your child is unwell with a fever or cold flu type symptoms please keep them home. All lessons with 24 hours notification as per our studio policy will again be credited from your next term account. When attending lessons at Songbirds we ask that: Students wash their hands with soap in the bathroom facilities prior to entering the studio. Hand sanitizer will also be provided for use at the commencement of each lesson. Teachers will also wipe down instruments after each lesson to ensure clean surfaces. I hope that this information will assist you in the knowledge that we value our students health and safety as a priority. We will continue to keep you updated should the situation change.
