25.01.2022 The song album team is taking a bit of a breather after the release of Volume 1 and a great Freo Town Hall fundraiser gig on Sunday. Back into it as soon as humanly possible! Meanwhile, If you seriously want to be considered for Volume 2, have a recording, and haven't already submitted your song, please email [email protected]. Please send a link to any existing versions, track info and a brief background blurb if possible and include a mobile phone number, to be k...ept in the communication loop. NB providing an individual email address is the only way you can be given access to Dropbox. Emailing large song files direct in acceptable wav format is slow and unreliable, hence Dropbox. NB also that, for copyright reasons, Volume 2 will also be fully original content only, however there is scope to deal with some of the covers, parodies and re-writes of copyrighted tunes used in the campaign, including community recordings of these, in a separate album. Please promote Songs for the Beeliar Wetlands Volume 1 as widely as you can among friends and rellies. Cheers, Ginny https://musiciansforbeeliar.bandcamp.com/releases

21.01.2022 This link takes you straight to Volume 1, out now on Bandcamp. Please support and share among family and friends. Ginny https://musiciansforbeeliar.bandcamp.com//songs-for-the-be

08.01.2022 We have enough for two albums of original songs! The first will be all the songs that Joe received early and has had time to master this week, or one of two songs, in the case where two songs have been submitted by the same person. As some people (or the person who recorded it) have only just submitted their song, or are still in the process of recording or submitting it, there will be a bit more time to get them in and these later arrivals (plus any originals from tomorrow's... workshop and concert) will go on another album shortly, once they've been mastered. Below (all going to plan) is the list of songs on Songs for the Beeliar Wetlands #1, which hopefully will be accessible by the time of tomorrow's rally (please remember this is an entirely volunteer-powered project!). Stay tuned for news of more great songs by local musicians appearing as album #2, and for bonus recordings of other campaign songs and parodies! Dave Robertson will make Band camp details available as soon as album #1 is up and purchasable. Ewan Buckley - No No No, to Roe Roe Roe! Jane Cornes - The Righteous Man Waltz Michael Boase - Hope Road and Progress Drive Ginny Webb - Beeliar Lovesong Steve Hammond - Waliabup Dreaming Marie O’Dwyer - Falling Dave Robertson - Oil, Love and Oxygen Rachel Armstrong - Trapper Watcher Gordon Lee - Six Lane Highway Jenny Gaunt - Tree Matt Cal - Peacefully Unite Annie Robinson - What the Wind Said Nick Turner - Don’t Build This Stupid Road Zoe Ryan - Beeliar Joe Savage - Simone Keane - Wise Man Branan Silvius - Wild Mother Thanks everyone, contributors and audience! :-)

08.01.2022 Hi folks. I have discovered that when sharing Volume 1 with friends on the book of face, its best to use the link: https://musiciansforbeeliar.bandcamp.com because this gives the preview image, whereas the link https://musiciansforbeeliar.bandcamp.com/releases does not give the preview. Over out and I hope you are all enjoying Volume 1. I have had it on constant rotation the last few days :) Dave

02.01.2022 Volume 1 available now! Please share widely... https://musiciansforbeeliar.bandcamp.com/releases
