25.01.2022 An article about me and my "folk tales" made it into the Sandgate Guide - thanks guys!!

25.01.2022 Soundman and producer Nigel returned to Cairns. Thanks to modern technology I was able to participate via Zoom in the recording session with Simon McMenamin putting down some violin and viola tracks for some of the songs. I love this stuff.

21.01.2022 A new talent star on the rise.

21.01.2022 Still working hard in the studio

20.01.2022 Job done. My new album "Anyway" has been mastered this week-end. First feedback was very encouraging. Thanks to all musicians involved and to Pegasus Studios in Cairns this is the best album I made ever; a truly high quality production. Now I wonder if and how many CD copies I should get made. Are there any old fashioned music lovers out there that still buy a CD? Let me know.

19.01.2022 After one week of recording at Pegasus Studios in Cairns in July work continued with the band in Brighton last week. Sessions went from 9 am to 6 pm daily. Everyone was a bit exhausted afterwards. Nigel flew in to record the band and stayed at our guest house. Next steps are to get the background vocals and harmonies recorded back in Cairns again as well as special instrument tracks such as accordion, saxophone, violin and cello. This will take until end of August depending on the availability of all respective people.

18.01.2022 A new music video clip has been published yesterday. All because of Covid19. See story and youtube link here: http://geckomusicproductions.com.au/2020/06/f-you-corona/

16.01.2022 Back in the studio with the amazing Nigel at Pegasus Studios in Cairns!

15.01.2022 Another miracle happened after an earth quake in Turkey: A three year old girl was been rescued from the rubble after three days. https://www.abc.net.au//three-year-old-rescued-fr/12842560 A similar thing happened about ten years ago when grandmother, mother and a baby girl survived the collapse of high rise caused by an earth quake. The baby's name was Azra and so is the name of a song I wrote when I learned about that story. You can find it here: https://soundcloud.com/frank-frikker Look for AZRA.

14.01.2022 My first music video with Karen J White. We share an interest in humorous, quirky songs. https://youtu.be/C_4KMHs344M

13.01.2022 Anyone interested in my posts regarding the recording process and progress of my new album? If so, check it out here: http://geckomusicproductions.com.au

12.01.2022 Artistic/Musical Talent wanted for Unplugged Cafe at Sandbag Community Center! Since years every first Friday of the month Unplugged Cafe is an entertaining fundraiser for Sandbag Community Center in Sandgate. Heaps of regional musicians but also poets and actors are supporting this event and donate their acts for free. We made it through the Covid19 crisis so far with just a short brake. We are continuously looking for new or old talents that haven't been on our stage yet. So, if you are open for a charity gig and craving for a listening audience please contact Frank: [email protected] This event is supported by 99.7 Bridge FM

10.01.2022 Bloody Covid-19 keeps us on our toes. Numbers are rising again. Places that were Corona free have new cases now. I thought my song F... You Corona was just a song doe the moment. Seems more like it is the song for the year? So here it is again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mCZ5Tm-Pq0

10.01.2022 The local magazine offered to write a short story about me. Here's the link to their on-line version: https://www.sandgateguide.com.au//1214-frikker-rsquo-s-fol

07.01.2022 Today I have received the last two of 13 song mixes from my sound engineer and producer Nigel Pegrum from Pegasus Studios. Lots of listening through different sound systems and speakers, maybe a little bit of fine tuning - and then the job is done and mastering can take place. Acc. to Nigel - who could better judge - this is the best album I made. The songs really sound great; studio and musicians have done a wonderful job. It is them who make my music shine a bit. Sometimes when listening it makes me wonder: "Did I really wrote that song?". It bit overwhelming now. Well, soon it will be up to others to judge.

05.01.2022 New band/project name: While having a humorous moment my band members and I created the band name Frank & The Fuse. We thought it is somewhat funny and intelligent. However, it now sounds a bit like fish-head & wave-dancers to me. I am therefore thinking to change the name. One of my middle names is Wolf. A name I got because my uncle was called Wolf. For long it was never my favorite and I thus ignored it, never used it. Now having turned almost fully to songwriting and bein...g an artist I am less negative. I can now see some merits here. I wonder what others imagine when thinking of "wolf". As I and my songs are basically telling stories - serious, humorous, satirical, poetic or social ones - I came to the conclusion that "Wolf's Tales" could be a good name for my music projects and the band. A friend of mine is working on a logo now and first drafts make me feel great about this decision. By the way, my music website informs about all the wonderful musicians that have worked with me on my new album which is getting its final touches this week.
