25.01.2022 Im absolutely ecstatic to introduce our Team Mettle HF Completing 3046 Push Ups, in 21 days! ... In raising awareness for Mental Health and fundraising for HeadSpace, to help others through this new stage of living. Some of us are thriving, but others may not be. So in my beliefs, as a team, no one gets left behind or left out! These awesome humans have put their hands up to do there bit as well! They will complete as many as they can per day, and as a TEAM we will target our daily number. There is no pressure to the same, we are all on different levels, but we must do what we can each day! We start on the 11th May, and continue til the 31st. So for the rest of May, you may see a few of these awesome peeps in here. Super Super proud guys! with Fiona Parsons and 6 others.

Heres mine.. hahaha - my 2 angels to represent my babies.. - my stones, which I hold at night to give me strength and direction (yep fall asleep with them some nights and have to find them in the morn hahaha) ... - 2x 5cent coins, find a penny pick it up, all day long youll have good luck.. my good luck pennys I found... - my salt lamp to help clean my air and keep a calm area for me to sleep. -my black lamp, almost for show!! Hahaha - my book the compassionate samurai, amazing book guys! Im loving it!! - my night drops, I leave them there so I remember hahaha they help de-bloat and balance me while Im asleep, and help get to sleep!! - and lastly my coffee, this a rarity, but coffee in bed is one of my favourite I do maybe once a year!! So relishing it this morn!! So whats on you bedside table!!???!

10.01.2022 Its 7:43am... The house is super quite.. Its day 2 of back to school.. ... Normally quietness at this time of the morning is from kids still asleep... But, no kids... They have both got themselves up, got ready & have gone to school already I wonder how long this will last???? Its amazing how when we start something new, we are always doing it at our best... then about 2 weeks in we start to loose the excitement and the Adrenalin to do the tasks at the best of our ability & we find ways to achieve what we need to to with the least effort!! It doesn’t matter where you are at in life, sometimes we just need to start. A lot of the time we find excuses or there maybe big life blockages in your way every time you decide to do something bigger and better for yourself. What I have learned is, sometimes if we don’t do what we truly want to do when we want to do it, the blockages just keep getting bigger and bigger, until you give up on the idea all together. Don’t ever give up on your dreams!! Stand strong.. Stay focused.. And you may just find out that you blockages is really just a fake wall you mind has created to supposedly keep you safe and stable.. (NOTE: but we never grow in safe and stable)

04.01.2022 On Saturday I started a Plank Challenge in my Sonia Donegan - Healthy Lifestyle Group, with a group of people who were wanting to start to do something good for themselves. By Saturday arvo I was in tears watching the nation burning up and the detestation it has caused. My dad was the local Fireman for our area for years and even when we left the farm he still was a big part of the local Toodyay Brigade. On Springbank Farm, we had the water truck for emergency fire runs, so... we were the first ones to call. I remember just sitting down one Christmas on the farm and I took a call from a frantic ladies, whos back yard had a fire in it. We all stop lunch and took off to put it out. Another time I remember pleading with dad to go to a house fire in the Julimar area one night, when I got there it was friends of mine from schools house.. I was about 12, watching it burn to the ground, I wasnt allowed out of the trucks front but I could still see everything. It was heart wrenching to think they had lost everything. I sort of can imagine what dad would be saying about these fires, as we always back burned on the farm in winter to reduce the fuel levels on the ground. Always in a different spot each year, but it was a must for such a big farm. I think he may have back burned most years around the house.. it was safe and I was allowed to help with these, raking up the leaves, dead grass and bark, using the hose, which was pretty cool but really heavy and strong. When the lightening storms came, dad almost sat outside all night watching, just in case a lightening strike hit a tree and created a fire, which it did on a few times. Maybe this is where I get my fascination for watching lightening and fire from haha So mself and a few of the other plankers are donating for every second we plank for over the whole challenge, to the various bushfires relief appeals. We are on day 4 in the challenge. I will open up the challenge to late starters, so If you feel like you would like to challenge yourself and do a bit for our Australian Community, head on over to the page, add yourself to the challenge and start to do something really good for yourself, and maybe a little bit for some people/animals who would shed a small tear knowing you are shedding some sweat for them. 01.01.2022 How many of you have forgotten how to ride a bike ???? I had, and was scared to get back on one to be honest!! ... But we just did nearly a 15km bike ride!!!!! It wasnt hard, we chat (a lot), we laugh (at random things) & at the end of it we feel good!! On if the hardest things I find is to turn corners, hahaha Ive not got my full coordination back that yet!! Hahahah But its exercise, that is fun!!! So when are you getting back on your bike????
