25.01.2022 I was so nervous and excited about doing a Williamstown Literary Festival event with the amazing Clementine Ford on the weekend that I forgot to get a photo taken, so have nabbed a couple from audience members' Instagram (thank you). But I enjoyed it so much! Thank you to Clementine Ford for leading such a lively, generous and fascinating conversation, to WillyLitFest for holding such a fab annual event, and to all who came along to watch.

16.01.2022 I've got lots of events coming up - at the Melbourne Writers Festival, Brisbane Writers Festival and Yarra Plenty Booklovers Festival, which I've listed on my website (www.soniaorchard.com.au) and will share here soon. My next event though is with friend and writer-philosopher Julienne van Loon, at Preston Library on August 13th. Julienne's recent book - an extremely personal journey through feminist philosophy - is an amazing work, which I highly recommend. Come along if you can.

08.01.2022 Looking forward to putting away the ugg boots and down jacket and heading up to sunny Brisbane this afternoon for the Brisbane Writers Festival. I'm running a novel writing workshop on Friday and am in three other events over the weekend: In conversation with Charlotte Nash, a panel on Writing Mothers, with Alice Robinson, Tabitha Bird and Kristina Olsson, and another panel on how to end a novel, with Peggy Frew, Tom Lee and Very Armanno.
