24.01.2022 I have been quietly looking for some time and am so fortunate to now be the owner of this gorgeous Mid Century low line dresser drawer with its beautiful cigar shaped legs. Lucky for me, this dresser was in pretty impressive condition for its age when purchased, so a sand, paint (in my favourite colour) seal and polish completes this piece nicely and I know exactly where this is going in my .

21.01.2022 Was given an old style timber desk from my son, as he has now finished his studies - Thank you Matt (Sorry, no before photo) Worked my magic to produce the below which has shelves for books on one side with 4 drawers on the right. I sanded, painted & sealed in a medium grey with black drawers that have been distressed, chalkboard paint finishes the top of the desk with vintage ‘book’ feature wallpaper.... Was eager to show Matt the finished product which he was more than happy with (I got a ‘WoW’ from a teenager... ) and then the conversation went like this; (Matt) Are you selling it xx (Me) Do you want it back? xx (Matt) Is that okay with you? Xxxx Makes me a happy Mum

Sanded back to natural timber which contrasts nicely with the newly black paint and finished off with a daily reminder to inspire us all ‘she believed she could... so she did’ Internal drawers have been painted in a pretty pink that compliments and completes this old style dresser, original handles have also been used. The more that you learn,... the more places you’ll go. - Dr Seuss This old solid wood bookshelf has had a fresh new look and is now a perfect library to showcase children’s books and or toys. It has 3 x shelves that vary in height and the bookshelf can be wall mounted for safety. And as a huge fan of Dr Seuss, I thought it was very fitting that I make him be a part of this makeover, with a fabric covered backboard. (sorry.....
