25.01.2022 Starting to have some fun with young Jack now that it looks like he’s sticking round for a bit.

22.01.2022 It’s great to play with the apprentices as they get bigger and stronger. It’s also great to be a part of the learning that young people are doing in our sessions. One young person in our session today finished the empathy sentence off beautifully - Empathy is important for me because...it helps me understand how others feel and that helps my relationship with friends and people I care about ... 22.01.2022 We finished our sessions at Catherine McAuley College yesterday. We learned lots about how we feel, express, and regulate our emotions. Yesterday we began the process of documenting how we can actually plan to regulate ourselves in many different areas of our lives. Thanks for the generous gifts, I love my new toy!

22.01.2022 Found a bit of sun to laze in today !! Licked the chops and just snoozed

20.01.2022 I have had a ball with young Hazel today. There’s gotta be time in our week to just play!!!

20.01.2022 This is our new apprentice Jack. He will be my own personal assistant at Dogs Connect, and I think he is perfect for the job. He started work the day he arrived by watching from the office (van) and learning the fundamentals of the most important part of my day - getting the tennis ball back!

16.01.2022 I had a couple of days off last week, thought it was time to see if Jack is cut out for all this work! I must admit, he makes it look pretty easy. I still do all the hard parts.

16.01.2022 Friday was great fun and a new experience. I was in the radio studio at ABC Central Victoria with Fiona Parker in the morning, and then in the studio at ABC Ballarat hanging out with Nicole Chvastik. I tried to open the phone lines and take a few calls but we ran out of time .

15.01.2022 My job is so much fun in the sun! Today I learnt that young Bridie from Holy Rosary Heathcote has mastered the commando roll, and young Lexie at St Peter's Primary School is trying really hard to learn how to drop the ball.

15.01.2022 We went to see the beautiful Banjo at St. Joseph’s in cobram yesterday. Young Jack and Banjo had fun, I did the adult thing and ‘actively supervised’ Thanks for having us Sarah.

14.01.2022 We have been planning ways to self regulate daily, and part of the plan is to build some gratitude into the day, even if it’s one simple thing we are grateful for.

13.01.2022 Milli has actually been working very hard at California Gully Primary School, don’t be deceived.

12.01.2022 We went to meet with the principal at California Gully Primary School today...and he looked a little different.

11.01.2022 Great start to the weekend after working pretty hard . Ran into a couple of my cousins at the park and then did some ‘active supervising’ at TKO Fitness. These guys actually know how to work hard

10.01.2022 Having a little break from the business, and just wanted to say a big thanks to Abby Blaikie for enjoying what we do, and helping us bring more awareness to the work that all the dogs are doing.

08.01.2022 Great to see all the apprentices again today. They have got a bit of work to do.

07.01.2022 Spot the dog! This tree is so big, I didn’t even know there was people in it The energy I feel around this old being today is something else

05.01.2022 If there’s one thing Jack is going to have to learn, it’s how to handle really excitable pups. Milli from California Gully Primary School is pretty happy with her life.

05.01.2022 It was a great surprise to see the beautiful Lily at Cobram Primary School today. It’s a different ball game to working with pups - there’s no ball game . We’re working out where we sit with one another - literally.

04.01.2022 It’s one thing to have apprentices at work - but when they move in to my whole life, it turns a morning stroll into an exercise in patience. This is Jack !

01.01.2022 It was great to see Lexi at St. Peter’s Primary School again. She is doing an amazing job with Mel and the rest of the people in the community.
