25.01.2022 Nice view to start the morning

23.01.2022 Huge job to finish my Sunday. View was 10/10

23.01.2022 Stoked to share with you that as of tomorrow I will be a certified Horticulturist. So lucky to share the journey with an awesome bunch of people. Looking at the picture you can tell we are an odd bunch from all different walks of life but that made each class so interesting. Fair to save I’ve made some life long friends . Add on top of that being awarded Australian Institutes of Horticulture’s Student of the year 2018. ... Over the Moon to say the least. One thing I would like to encourage you to do is chase your goals, don’t be scared to get out of your comfort zone. Once you take that first step who knows what the future could hold for you. Can’t wait to keep growing as a green thumb

22.01.2022 One of my regulars had a shrub(Duranta erecta or Pigeon Berry) taking over their garden. So I thought I’d try and shape it and reign it in. Though I had a pic before I first cut it back but....I don’t. Stoked with its progress

22.01.2022 Lenny really enjoying a sleep in

20.01.2022 How nice are all these roses in bloom at one of my regular gardens I work on. Grown for their amazing flowers I was lucky to learn how to prune and maintain them as part of my studies. This is the second bloom the roses have done for the season, and that was achieved by a special Summer Prune and fertilisation. Time to let them be now until the cooler weather passes. If your roses are needing some love flick me a message.

18.01.2022 Introducing the first garden of the year to chew me up and spit me out. I knew it was going to be tough, but this was next level because of my dear friend Cynodon dactylon (Couch Grass). Got there in the end after about 6 hours. In saying that I could of just ripped into it with a non-selective herbicide with Glyphosate in it but i'm not about that. Stuff like Round Up will be banned in Australia in the near future. If you look at the last picture you will see I like to try ...and use Newspaper to suppress the weeds coming back. By using it your recycling, very easy to handle and breaks down over time. Also it still lets nutrients and water through to the root zone. DO NOT USE WEED MAT. It simply doesn't work and ends out being a huge inconvenience. It's black so the sun smashes it, ripping and tearing letting the weeds grow through thus causing a even bigger mess. Plus it's PLASTIC. Say No to GLYPHOSATE, No to WEED MAT and A BIG YES to RECYCLING. Sonny and Lenny xo

17.01.2022 It’s a jungle out there ....

06.01.2022 A beautiful place I’m lucky to call one of my regulars! #Toro

05.01.2022 30/04/1990: I was born, thanks everyone for all the bday love. 30/04/2019 I gave life to some Turf. Huge day, special thanks to Mrs Morrison for the help

03.01.2022 Are you thinking of putting your property on the market for sale or rent? Here is a testimonial from a client that I helped with firstly getting his place ready for market, then ongoing maintenance to ensure the yard looked it’s best through out the sale. It amazing what a good weed, layer of mulch and well finished mow can do for your properties presentation. I spent 8 years in the Real Estate game and soon realised the First impression is so important. From all reports t...he property markets tightening up, if you want a hand to get your gardens looking their to stand above the pack flick me a message. Cheers to Reece Thompson - Real Estate Agent for the recommendation on this one.

02.01.2022 Here is 3 pictures of some round ball topiary hedging from the last couple days. Love doing them, but it's also stressful because if you slip up it stands out like dogs Ballz. Lenny hates that reference because he lost his at the RSPCA before Danielle and I rescued him. Unlucky Bud....lol.
