21.01.2022 Drummers, here is some food for thought regarding your drumsticks. Everyones stick choice is personal. Consider what music you will be predominantly playing, as this is the easiest way to narrow down what stick is for you. Physical factors such as hand length, arm length, wrist strength and so on will determine what stick is a good fit.... Have a chat with your drum coach about what is best for you.

If you get mad with yourself from making the same mistake several times over, you’re doing yourself a disservice by getting angry. We can never go past a lip trill, either! This is done by applying light contact the lips, a then exhaling and vocalising to make the lips freely move. Its a fantastic tool to create an engagement with your air supply, its great for enhancing energy and stability in the sound, and it can be used in all places of your range!
