17.01.2022 It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for! From this week, we will be looking ‘covid normal’ for indoor dining. This will allow us to open up our booking system to be more flexible and have more space available for indoor dining. Our al la carte menu will now be on offer for all guests and we will have a beautiful set menu for groups of 10 and over across lunch and dinner. Thank you soo much for your patience, understanding and support during these last few weeks of capacity restrictions and we look forward to an even greater buzz inside and outside the walls of Sons of Mary!

17.01.2022 To all our valued customers, We were contacted by DHHS at 11.15pm last night to inform us that a visitor to Sons of Mary on 24th December between the hours of 10am and 11am has since tested positive to Covid-19. We have closed Sons of Mary as per instructions from DHHS to carry out a deep clean as well as to notify our staff who worked that day to get tested. We have an extensive QR tracking system that everyone is requested to sign in upon arrival, this has been forwarded on...to DHHS for them to follow up with anyone that dined with us during the exposure period. For your piece of mind, we are fully aware of this regular group and their table position within the restaurant. We have been informed that only 1 of the party who contracted the virus elsewhere has tested positive, and the other guests have all been tested and their results have all been negative. At this point in time DHHS has confirmed, there has only been this 1 Covid case at Sons of Mary. Since the start of the pandemic in March, we have ensured that all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised to minimise the risk of transmissions. As per our planned closure from 3pm on the 24th of December, Sons of Mary did not reopen until the 30th of December. During this time without any knowledge of this case the entire venue also received a deep clean during the Christmas break. Any staff that worked on the 24th December have undergone testing today and Sons of Mary will be closed until we receive clearance from DHHS to reopen safely. We encourage any of our guests who have dined with us during the exposure period on the 24th of December between 10 and 11am to get tested. 06.01.2022 1 Visitor - 0 Cases We are thrilled to finally be able to reopen after 1 customer who was unknowingly positive with Covid visited Sons of Mary for 1 hour on Christmas Eve. All staff have undergone 2 tests which have all come back as Negative. Clearance has been given to all staff to return to work.... The whole venue has undergone a strict and thorough clean and has also been cleared to open by the DHHS. Sons of Mary alwaysoperates with safe dining and stringent hygiene measures in place, and the wellbeing of our guests and team members are always front of mind. We apologise if you were inconvenienced in getting tested as we know that our staff were queuing for up to 7 hours! We will be reopening tomorrow (Saturday) and would like to thank our wonderful customers who have reached out with some lovely encouraging messages that have meant a great deal to all of us.
