20.01.2022 Delicious grain-free, refined sugar-free mini banana loaves ready for gifting. I used the banana, walnut & date loaf recipe in Cookidoo, & baked them in a steel framed silicon mini loaf mould from The Mix Shop, then wrapped them in strips of brown parchment paper, & secured/decorated with the raffia bows. Please get in touch if you’re interested to know more about how a Thermomix can help you/different options for getting one on your bench, or if you’d like a link for the mini loaf mould.



17.01.2022 That was so much fun! Here’s the finished result of my gingerbread making, trying out my new rose gold Christmas cookie cutters (from The Mix Shop). I’ve not made & decorated gingerbread before, but it was sooo easy with the guided recipe through Cookidoo. The T6 model makes everything so much easier. I’ll package these up & they’ll make lovely gifts for the girls’ teachers etc. This is less than half of how many one batch made...I’m saving the rest until the girls get hom...e so they can decorate some if they’d like to. 12.01.2022 My littlest is enjoying being Head Taste-Tester for the Christmas baking I’ve been doing. She gave this Red & Green Christmas Shortbread recipe (one of the 65 000+ guided recipes on Cookidoo), the big thumbs up. The recipe called for dried cranberries along with pistachios (the red & the green). I didn’t have any cranberries, so subbed a mix of dried cherries & goji berries. I think I’ll try them next time with just goji berries for the red, as the cherries are a bit too dark coloured. They are dipped in melted white chocolate. A bit decadent alright! These will make great teachers’ gifts for next week (our girls start their hols middle of next week! ). I’ll have to make a new batch before then though...I don’t think these have too much chance of lasting very long in this house.
