15.01.2022 I somehow woke before Miss Annie this morning and she saw me and held her arms out for a hug. I sat on the edge of the bed and hugged her, then she snuggled in and put her head on my lap and lay there while I played with her hair. Looking down at her contented little face, I started thinking how Mother's Day is also a beautiful time to reflect on how blessed and grateful I am to be the person to give such comfort to this little human, and to be part of shaping her life and guiding her the best I can.
