20.01.2022 This Unfortunately the pill doesn't work by regulating your hormones. It simply suppresses your hormones, whilst inducing a withdrawal bleed when you take the sugar pills. The best thing to do is figuring out why your hormones are imbalanced; is it due to stress, under eating, over exercising, endocrine disrupting chemicals, your diet or other lifestyle factors? #glenirisnaturopath #health #naturalmedicine #periods #naturalhealth #thepill #hormones #hormonebalance #amenorrhea #period #periodhealth #teenagehormones #overthinking #naturopath #guthealing #instagood #wellness #health #theocp #pcos #acne

15.01.2022 Protein Balls - a perfect hormone friendly, balanced snack. I generally just measure by eye, so this is a very rough recipe! 1/2-3/4 cup of Almonds 1/4 cup of Walnuts 10 Medjool dates ... 1 TBS of Protein Powder - I recommend a vegan powder (Better for the gut and your skin) 2 TSP Chia Seeds 2 TSP Cacao Powder 1 Pinch of Cinnamon Optional - Collagen Powder to increase protein and assist with gut and skin health 1. Put all of the nuts in the blender and blend until finely chopped 2. Add the remainder of the ingredients and pulse again until blended into a ball. You may need to add a splash of water if the mix feels too dry. If the mix is too wet, you can add some more nuts 3. Roll the mixture into small balls. I rolled these in chia seeds, discarded coconut and blended goji berries. Store in the fridge. #blissballs #proteinballs #recipe #chocolate #naturopath #guthealth #hormones #hormonebalance #healthy See more

10.01.2022 PERIOD HEALTH. Did you know the colour of your bleed tells us a lot about what's going on internally? It's so important to pay attention to what your blood looks like. Is it vibrant red, dark red, brown, clotted, light pink? Track this in your period tracking app, along with any discharge you notice throughout the month as well #naturopath #naturopathy #naturalmedicine #periodhealth #period #hormones #hormonebalance #amenorrhea #periodcolours #progesterone #happyhormones #pcos
