Congratulations to the Sorrento Duncraig Year 5 and 6 players who represented our great club at the annual Gaelic Games - Jim Stynes Memorial Cup hosted by the Gaelic Games Junior Academy of WA. The boys did our club proud by bringing home the Jim Stynes Memorial Shield! Such a great day and well organised event!

21.01.2022 At your next childs footy game, follow all protocols and lets be COVIDSafe. Please respect the rules of maintaining an appropriate physical distance. Follow good hygiene and please stay home if unwell no matter how mild your symptoms are.... Some other things to consider: - no sharing of water bottles - you will notice we have no water runners in junior footy this year - no organges at half time and post game - avoid the traditional footy huddle whilst we remain vigilant - no sharing of footy jumpers - avoid small change rooms with large teams - remember physical distancing - keep showing respect for the umpire, shaking their hand is not the only way to do it - keep having fun and enjoy your footy Were all in this together. #WAFooty #wereallinthistogether #sdjfc

16.01.2022 Faced with the prospect of a bye last weekend, an Inter District scratch match was arranged between the Year 6 Sorrento Duncraig Goldhawks and the Year 6 Mt Hawthorn Blues from Mt Hawthorn Cardinals JFC. Under perfect sunny skies, it was a good competitive game for both teams. A big thank you to Darren, Carlo and their team for taking up our invitation. 10.01.2022 Our Year 7/8 Girls had their first win of the season on Friday night, beating Marist by 21 points. Only 2 points up at three quarter time, the Hawks kicked 4 last quarter goals to claim a well-deserved victory! Go Hawks!

It was so nice to receive this message from one of the North Beach parents. "Well done to Sorrento Duncraig year 10 boys who won by 1 point against our Northbeach boys in a very competitive game, I Always love going back and catching up with all the awesome parents that were apart of our 5 years with the club its truly an enjoyable experience thank you all and well played today Sorrento.see you again soon."
