23.01.2022 This Afternoon, Sorrento/Portsea Branch were joined by the esteemed Neale Burgess MP at our Annual General Meeting. Congratulations to Peter Grey being re-elected as President, with both Anthea Mollison and David Burgess as female and male Vice-Presidents. Amongst other topics, Neale spoke at length around police and crime on our Mornington Peninsula and solutions being offered currently in Hastings. Along with this, the branch unanimously gave a vote of support for the steadfast Senator James Paterson and Andrew Hastie in their noble stand against Chinese Imperialism across our region. All accompanied with a wonderful Christmas dinner cooked for a packed house! TB

12.01.2022 Last week, the Sorrento/Portsea Liberal Party Branch were joined by Ivan Stratov, a member of the Liberal State Administrative Committee. We had an interactive session where we were able to voice our opinions and ideas for both gaining more members and being able to win the next State Election in 2022. Notable recommendations for the Administrative Committee include; lowering and/or restructuring the membership fee scheme entirely, along with changing our promotion strategies to gain members. Don't forget to join us on the 28th of October when we will be hearing from the newly minted Senator Sarah Henderson !
